Bognor Regis man bailed on suspicision of thefts from motor vehicles

A 19-year-old Bognor Regis man has been bailed on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles until May 9.

The man was arrested and questioned after several suspected thefts which happened from 12.50am to 5am on April 2. Police have seized a quantity of items which are believed to have come from cars.

A man was seen acting suspiciously and trying car door handles in and around Durlston Drive, Bronze Close and Sycamore Road in the early hours of that day.l.

Police Investigator Tom Van Der Wee said: “Did you see anything suspicious during that night? Have you discovered items missing from your car ?”
