Bognor Regis’ Christmas ice rink is back for another year with a bigger and better skating area.
The seasonal seafront attraction is temporarily installed at Place St Maur, next to the Alexandra Theatre between Belmont Street and The Esplanade.
It was officially opened yesterday afternoon by the chairman of Arun District Council, Alan Gammon, accompanied by BID chairman Paul Wells and Town Crier Jane Smith.
Cllr Alan Gammon said: “I wish Bognor Regis, the businesses here, all the very best and urge people to come and use Bognor Regis as their first choice to do their Christmas shopping.”
The ice rink forms part of a host of festive events in Bognor Regis this year, including a chance to meet Father Christmas and late night shopping.
Penguins are available on a first come first served basis to help younger skaters.
