BAD weather has caused a fundraising event on Sunday (September 23) to be called off.
Eight-year-old Caitlin Seymour from Bognor Regis was due to take to the seafront in a bid to raise funds in memory of classmate Charlie Dowling who died of cancer last year.
The event was called off due to bad weather and Caitlin was unable to hula-hoop along the seafront and back, a distance of around 2km.
Caitlin is now set to fulfil the challenge this Sunday (September 30).
Caitlin and her hula-hoop will be setting off at around 2pm this Sunday from the Bognor Regis bandstand.
All our welcome to come along and cheer Caitlin along in her efforts.
