TWO branches of an international charity in the Bognor Regis area have united.
The Bognor Regis and Felpham branches of Save the Children have joined forces to create Felpham/Bognor Regis Save the Children.
Anne Moore, of the new branch, said: “There have been rumours whispered that Bognor Regis branch of Save the Children had folded.
“The truth is, as our numbers have been depleted, by age and infirmity, the Felpham group has kindly invited us to join it.
“We are proud to be associated with Save the Children, proud to have Princess Anne as our inspiring president, and proud 87p in every £1 goes directly to the causes, with the additional money going to raise further funds for work overseas and in this country.”
“We are very grateful to Morrisons for their enormous and continuing effort for Save the Children, raising millions across Britain, and to Tesco for allowing us to hold collections over the years.”
