Mr Harris, who lives in Camberley, write to the Observer having seen a copy of Sylvia Endacott’s article on early transport in the April 23 edition.
, by a fellow member of the Bayko Collectors’ Club, who lives in Chichester.
“I was pleased to see the photograph of Bognor Regis Bus Station, which I remember having visited in the 1960s,” he said.
“I built my 1/50 scale model last winter to mark Southdown 100 and have recently exhibited it at the London Transport Museum Acton Depot open weekend.
“The main building is made from Bayko, a British building toy that was manufactured in Liverpool from 1934 to 1964. Bayko was a very popular toy in the mid-1950s.”
Mr Harris is a member of the Bayko Collectors’ Club and was sent the article by a fellow member from Chichester.
