A CHANCE is on offer this weekend to help Bognor Regis beach and a threatened marine animal.
The first beach clean of the year is being held on Sunday. Town resident Kimberley Stewart has organised the occasion from midday to 3pm at the bandstand.
Everyone who goes along should take gloves but bin bags and cookies will be provided.
The event is in aid of the Seahorse Trust, which is dedicated to protecting marine creatures, especially those of Studland Bay where the population has declined because of habitat degradation.
The beachcombers will be joined by the Create Bognor team. Led by Victoria Hulatt, they will be making beach pebble mosaics nearby.
The beach clean has also been backed by Surfers Against Sewage and Arun District Council.
