Backing for touchscreen

A NEW tourism touchscreen in Bognor Regis has been backed by the town’s chamber of commerce.

President and chairman Nick Stuart-Nicolson said the round-the-clock resource at the Observer office and visitor information point on the Place St Maur would give further help to tourists. “This improves the service which is there by allowing people to get help out of hours,” he told its executive committee.

Deputy chairman Ian Harding said: “This goes part of the way to solving the problem of helping people when the office is closed. But I believe person-to-person is the best way of helping.”
