IDA Broadhurst celebrated her 100th birthday with not one but two parties in Chichester.
Ida marked Tuesday’s milestone with family and care staff at Augusta Court, Chichester.
The active centenarian enjoys taking part in a whole host of activites at the care home, including music and movement, poetry and baking.
Ida enjoyed a family party on Saturday and was delighted to receive a telegram from The Queen on her birthday.
Celebrations continued on Tuesday, with care staff presenting Ida with a birthday cake and flowers and family gathering to celebrate.
“Ida is very precious to us. It is lovely to celebrate with her. She is such a happy person and lives life to the full and I think that’s why she has reached 100,” said Deidre Johnson, manager of Augusta Court.
