A THREE-day celebration of gardening has been hailed as the best show in almost two decades.
Organisers, exhibitors and visitors to this year’s The Garden Show, at Stansted Park, celebrated another successful year as the show closed on Sunday.
“It was our best show ever in our 19 years, which is brilliant for all concerned,” said Lizzie Dymock, from The Garden Show.
Amongst the hundreds of exhibitors were several local companies and organisations, including Maggie Haynes, from organic smallholding and education centre Tuppeny Barn.
“It is a great show,” she said. “It is in our area so we get to see a lot of our customers.
“The organisers are also so supportive of all the stall holders.”
Alongside the garden exhibitors, there was also art and design and home and gift marquees. In the children’s area there were circus workshops, face painting and a coconut shy.
