New figures show the tragic number of coronavirus deaths that have taken place across different areas in Arun.

Arun saw a total of 61 coronavirus deaths in the three months between March 1 and May 31, according to the new figures from the Office for National Statistics.

The break-down by ward is as follows:

– Bognor Regis Central, 12

– Rustington North, 11

– Littlehampton East, 6

– Angmering South, 6

– Littlehampton West and River, 5

– East preston and Rustington East, 4

– Ferring and Kingston Gorse, 3

– South Bersted, 3

– Nyetimber and Pagham, 2

– Angmering North, Patcham and Findon, 2

– Wick and Toddington, 1

– Middleton-On-Sea, 1

– Hawthorne Road, 1

– Yapton and Climping, 1

– Felpham, 1

– Aldwick, 1

– Westergate, Eastergate and Walberton, 1

– Arundel, 0

– North Bersted, 0

In Bognor Regis Central, deaths by coronavirus accounted for the highest percentage of all deaths during this time period (80 per cent).
