McDonald's reopening: Here's how the Chichester and Bognor queues are looking

Queues of traffic are expected today as McDonald's drive-thrus re-open in Chichester and Bognor Regis.

Drive-thru lanes and the restaurant's 'McDelivery' service are back up and running as of today (Wednesday, June 3).

Across the country fast food lovers have been able to get their hands on their much-missed beef burgers and milkshakes for the first time in more than 11 weeks.

At McDonald's City Gate site, phone lines are busy and traffic is reportedly queuing along Terminus Road.

Up at the Portfield roundabout site, queues are reportedly 'not too bad' with a queue length of about 10 cars according to reports.

In Bognor Regis queues for the Oldlands Way McDonald's are currently boasting some 60 cars with wait time expected to exceed an hour.

A spokesman for McDonald's said: "As employees and the business adapt to a new way of working, McDonald’s would like to thank customers for their continued support and patience."
