WITH a mix of quiffs, long shorts and a flat cap, this football team look like a fine bunch of fellows.
The name of the team and its members is a mystery, as the photograph is just one of hundreds of unknown images discovered in the Herald archives.
However, Herald reader and former local footballer Terry Lamb believes it may be Ferring FC.
Mr Lamb said: "I can't name any of the players with the exception that the player on the front row, right whose first name was Bert.
"I think that in later years he became club groundsman."
