FILM REVIEW: Force

BOLLYWOOD superstar John Abraham proves his action man credentials in Nishikanth Kamath’s hard-hitting thriller, which is a Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kaakha Kaakha.

Senior narcotics police officer Yashvardhan (Abraham) believes in swift justice, often at his own hands to ensure that the criminal fraternity pays heavily for its heinous digressions.

He is deeply involved in a high-profile operation to smash India’s drug cartels.

During this perilous mission, Yashvardhan meets beautiful free spirit Maya (Genelia D’Souza), whose sweetness and innocence are a tonic.

However, romantic entanglements can be dangerous and when Yashvardhan crosses a vicious druglord, Maya becomes a vital pawn in the subsequent battle for control of the streets.
