SANTA is checking his list, packing up the pressies and harnessing the reindeer for his visit to Bognor Regis.
There are just two days to go before he arrives in the town at his grotto on the railway station concourse.
Entry to the grotto, sponsored by Sainsbury’s, is by ticket only. Just a few tickets are left on 01243 825535. All proceeds from their sale will go to local charities.
Alongside the grotto will be some reindeer to allow young and old the chance to see the animals.
The event is part of the annual switch-on of the town’s Christmas lights in front of The Arcade at 4.30pm held by the town council.
Stars of The Regis Centre’s panto, Cinderella, the town mayor and Father Christmas will all be there to see the festive illuminations around the town centre burst into life.
There will also be plenty of other attractions to keep visitors entertained during the day.
The cafe at the William Hardwicke pub will have face painting for children.
Cole’s funfair will be in London Road with some children’s rides and hot chestnuts. There will also be a Christmas disco.
A children’s treasure hunt is being organised around the town and Celebration Samba will be drumming up a storm during the day.
Parking is free in the Fitzleet multi-storey on the day thanks to Arun District Council.
