PETWORTH

TALK: Rev’d Paul Cowley MBE to talk at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Petworth GU28 0AD at 7.30pm. A Petworth Churches Together event. At 17 Paul was behind bars , at age 19 went into the Army where he rose to become Staff Sergeant. His life was turned around in 1994 at an Alpha Course at HTB and he became involved with in running home groups, and in ex offender work. He set up Alpha in Prisons and now over 52 prisons are now running the course. He was ordained in 2002 and runs a church with a staff of 42 dealing with all manner of social problems. This special recital is given by four Chichester University students who went on with FMG’s help to fourth year studies at conservatoires.
