Tangmere Players are once again taking to the stage, to perform Murdered to Death, a black comedy written by Peter Gordon and directed by Judy Simnett.

Spokesman Duane Wadey said: “This Agatha Christie-style spoof boasts a medley of delightful characters who all end up in the house of Mildred and her niece Dorothy for the weekend; Bunting the Butler, Pierre the shady art dealer and his well-bred friend Elizabeth Hartley-Trumpington, Colonel and Mrs Craddock and Inspector Pratt, the bumbling detective, who is aided by the long suffering Constable Thompkins and local amateur sleuth Miss Maple. Murder and mayhem ensue as Pratt endeavours to uncover the murderer.”

Tickets are £5 per adult and £3 per child on 01243 773454 or www.tangmereplayers.net or email pleasebuytickets@gmail.com. Performances are May16 and 17 at the Tangmere Village Centre.
