AUTHOR, coach and trainer Chris Johnstone is set to visit Chichester on Thursday, June 13, for a workshop entitled Nourished, Energised, Empowered and Inspired: An Evening of Active Hope with Chris Johnstone.
The event, part of the Festival of Chichester, acknowledges we live at a time of uncertainty when the challenges we face overwhelming.
Organised by sustainability group Transition Chichester, the workshop will introduce the practice of ‘active hope’, and explore what helps us become nourished, energised, empowered and inspired in the transition from carbon-intensive, time-poor individuals to a sustainable, life-affirming society. Johnstone’s first book, Find Your Power, is a self-help book which addresses both personal and planetary concerns.
“The evening offers an alternative way to view the challenges we face in our world today, and space to acknowledge our feelings in the face of climate change,” said organiser Jacqueline Garstin.
It takes places at 6.45pm at Friends Meeting House, Priory Lane, Chichester. Tickets cost £7.50 and are available from the Festival Box Office, Cathedral Shop, or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01243 527435.
