SPRING is in the air and a glittering occasion this month has been organised by a group of friends to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Spring Fling Charity Ball will be held at the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel, Walberton, on Saturday, March 23. The event is the brainchild of Nichola Fitzgerald, of Bosham, and her fellow members of the Inspired to Walk team.
“We call ourselves Inspired to Walk as we’re climbing Kilimanjaro in August as our ultimate challenge,” Nichola explained.
“Proceeds from the ball will be split with Macmillan Cancer Support and the Hilton in the Community Foundation charity.”
The night will include canapés on arrival, a three-course spring-themed dinner with wine, live music from local band Standard Bailout and a DJ. There will also be an auction, a champagne raffle and main raffle.
“It’s going to be a great night out and lots of fun,” said Nichola.
