GCSEs - Seaford College

There were celebrations at Seaford College when it was revealed that 87.5 per cent of students achieved five or more passes at grades A* to C.

73 per cent of students achieved five or more passes at the higher grades including English and maths.

These results were slightly up on last year's impressive results and two students had special reason to celebrate.

Jamie Sims from Chiddingfold gained nine A*s and one A and William Whitwell from Fittleworth gained seven A*s and three As.

Eleven students gained six or more passes at A* and A. – Headmaster Toby Mullins said: "This was another good year for Seaford, where our academic results are generally improving year upon year.

"Seaford College is a non selective school and has an outstanding reputation for its work with students who require learning support and these results are testament to the fact we are able to ensure each pupil attains his or her potential in all aspects of life."
