Blake to inspire artists in Bognor Regis

Blake

Blake

WILLIAM Blake will inspire a unique photographic event on Bognor Regis seafront.

Rebecca said: “I had the privilege of reading a copy of Jerusalem that Blake had hand-printed. I started imagining how, on this stretch of the south coast, he had seen these visions.”

The William Blake Imagination Photo Booth will be sited at the seafront bandstand from 6pm-9pm tomorrow (Friday, March 8) and Saturday.

It will give everyone the chance to create photo-portraits using an original and fun painting-with-light technique.

Work from the project will be projected on to the side of the pier and the Shoreline Hotel in Butlin’s next Friday.

That will be the final day of a four-day City to Sea workshop which Magnum photographer Peter Marlow will lead alongside Rebecca and David, hosted by Butlin’s.

Goldsmith’s artists and researchers will lead the talks and presentations.
