CHICHESTER are a national-league rugby club.
They realised their dream of playing in the national set-up for the first time in their near 90-year history by winning a nail-biting London one play-off 25-16 against Eton Manor at a packed, buzzing Oaklands Park.
Chi trailed 16-7 at half-time having led 7-3 early on but kept battling away and in the end their superior fitness showed.
It means they will proudly take their place in national three south next season - that just 12 years after being a county league side.
