Ormiston Six Villages Academy pupil Anya Johnston has secured a place at the British Schools Trampoline final later this year.

Johnston, a Dragonflyer trampolinist, came away with a bronze medal at the Zonal School Championships in Taunton last week.

With Johnston one of the youngest to compete in the year 11-to-13 plus category, a magnificent display of double twist and rotation somersaults, as well as superb consistency, helped her finish third overall.

The British Schools final just adds to an already impressive list of national competitions she has qualified for in recent times. Johnston competed in the Spring Series, National Development and National League events.

Ormiston Six Villages have been instrumental in Johnston’s success with their continued support for her in competition.
