Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club hosted an LTA south-east junior tour green ball event.

The grade-five boys’ singles event was run using a compass draw format of eight players. Each match comprised two short sets to four games with a match tie-break if necessary.

Bronze was won by Wills Berry (Brighton), who beat Rees Rahman (West Hants) 4-0, 4-0.

James Pollard (Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club) won the final and collected the gold medal, defeating Christopher Jones-Parker (Denmead) 4-0, 4-0, who received silver.

Tournament referee Peter Cook said: “Once again, the standard of tennis was excellent in this event – we were treated to some fantastic matches of a really high standard.”
