The club’s under-12 team – Rosie Budge, Lucy Hijmans, Kalnicenko and Morton – performed sensationally at the DWH international, winning the bronze medal while the club had one finalist in a world event in Austria – Johnstone – at the end of October. She finished a highly-creditable sixth.

Kalnicenko made the finals at the DWH world age event, finishing seventh out of 75 participants.

Both Kalnicenko and Johnstone made the top eight and the finals in an FIG-sanctioned international in Sweden.

Dragonflyers won regional team bronze in the top division in October and all in all the club have had four NDP individual national finalists, eight regional team members and 16 regional finalist.

Coach Linda O’Leary said: “I’m very proud of the members and coaching team of this tiny club.”
