As the end of the first season of Chichester’s Perfect 10 Darts League draws to a close, the top four players from both groups have qualified to play Terry Jenkins at the end-of-season exhibition next Monday.
In Group A the qualifiers were Craig Stoner, Gary Blackwood, Terry Howse and Courtney Wilson; in Group B it was Rob Collins, Adam Lipscombe, Lee Franklin and Gary Williamson.
Collins proved the dominant player in Group B, winning it with a total of 129 legs out of a possible 150, recording 340 100-plus scores and 18 180s. He also recorded the fewest darts for one leg across both groups with an 11-dart leg.
Group A was much closer with the top spot being decided between Blackwood and Stoner. It came down to the last game with Stoner needing seven legs to equal Blackwood. Stoner eventually won 7-3 to equal Blackwood and win the league on his win over Blackwood earlier in the season.
It’s been a fantastic first season which has now set up the two new divisions next summer, and the exhibition night with Jenkins the star guest will cap a great summer of darts.
There are still a few tickets available for the Terry Jenkins visit. Tickets are £4 each and available from Chichester Snooker Club in Terminus Road, where the event will be held.
