Chichester High School for Boys’ under-14 rugby team travelled to Worth School at Turners Hill to compete in the Sussex sevens tournament.

Impressive performances against the hosts, St Bedes, Chatsmore and Imberhorne took the Year 9 team to top of their group.

In particular, strong performances from Ollie Larsen, Harry Stubs and Dylan Seve brought CHSB back from 19-10 down to beat Worth.

A moment of brilliance from Sean Odin accompanied by an all-round team performance took CHSB past Sackville and into the semi-finals.

CHSB faced St Bedes in the final, the team they had narrowly defeated in the group stages.

This game, however, was a completely different story, as a heroic CHSB team demolished St Bede’s 32-5 in a one-sided final.
