“Every Monday evening we hold a boccia club session at MSC,” said Tim Hayes, club co-ordinator.

“We have coaches and players available to make it fun for anyone. We are trying to make it very social and so aiming it at young adults who can not only give the game a go or practice if they want, but also have some fun in the bar afterwards.”

One of the reasons people love playing is because it is so inclusive and puts everyone on a level playing field, regardless of their physical or intellectual ability.

Middleton, having spent the past few years making the club far more accessible and inclusive are determined to make the club open to all no matter what their ability.
