Harry Medway and Lewis Horsburgh are set to feature for Bognor against former club Pompey on Saturday.
The Academy pair were released this summer after the Blues decided against awarding them first-year professional terms.
Instead Ben Close and Bradley Tarbuck were the only ones retained and turned out for Andy Awford’s side in last weekend’s friendly at the Hawks.
Now defender Medway and striker Horsburgh are trialling at Bognor and boss Jamie Howell has earmarked both to get run outs in this weekend’s Nyewood Lane fixture.
Horsburgh featured as a second-half substitute in their friendly against Stoke on Tuesday night, while it will be a maiden appearance for Medway, who also had a run out for the Hawks at Westleigh Park on Tuesday against West Ham under-21s.
Joining them in the Rocks’ squad is former Southampton and AFC Portchester midfielder Jake Thomson.
And Howell will use the occasion to weigh up whether to pursue an interest.
He said: ‘Harry Medway is a full-back and left-hand side central defender and we will have a little look at him.
‘Lewis has come down, trained with us and did okay the other night against Stoke.
‘He has been at Pompey for some time and we will have another look at him on Saturday.
‘We are assessing a few players at the moment and another is Jake Thomson.
‘He came off at half-time against Stoke with a tight hamstring but has good pedigree.
‘He should be okay for Saturday, I expect him to play and at the moment he is looking at us and we are having a look at him.
‘We will see how that pans out.
‘Pompey is a fixture we are really looking forward to.’
Also set to turn out for the Rocks is midfielder Charlie Oatway junior.
He featured in a triallist XI for Pompey against Aldershot last summer but didn’t impress enough to win a deal.
Prices for the Nyewood Lane match, which kicks off at 1pm, are £9 for adults and £3 for under-18s.
