Predators Youth 2 Worthing 3
Predators knew they were in for a tough match against top-of-the-league Worthing - and so it proved.
They came out strong and there was good football from both teams. It wasn’t long before Predators found an opening and Oliver hit the back of the net.
In the second half Predators keeper Williams was soon picking the ball out of the net.
The ref was forced to show yellow cards to players from both sides.
A great corner from Farndell found the head of Birch, who took Predators ahead again.
Worthing were soon back on the attack and a tackle by Irish saw a penalty converted to make it 2-2.
Predators had to dig deep after having a player sent off but Williams pulled off some excellent saves.
Worthing had one last push and scored the winner to Predators’ dismay.
Man of the match was Williams.
PREDATORS: Williams, Farndell, Irish, Hillier, Birch, Josling, Cook, Blackman, Oliver, Rodway, Davies.
Chichester City Youth 11 Worthing Dynamos Youth 3
City made light work of their lower-league opposition in the second round of the cup and six goals from George Cody helped them on their way.
Cody got the first two for City by cutting in from the left wing to blast past the keeper.
Collins Alfred got the second, powering through the Worthing defence to slot in. Patric Turner made it four with a great shot from the edge of the area before Cody rifled in three more to give him five before the break.
Worthing got two quick goals after the break before Turner notched his second from outside the box.
Man of the match Sam Culver, who worked tirelessly behind the front line, met a neat cross to tap in.
Worthing added one more, as did Cody, before an own goal finished off the City scoring.

Highdown Saints 0 Chichester City Colts 2
In a hard-fought Challenge Cup game, the Colts made it through to the third round.
After a goalless first half the Colts found themselves 1-0 down - but showed great character and pegged back the Saints soon after with a goal from Ryan Johnson following up a shot from Davy.
More pressure paid off as Johnson scored his second with an assist from Durmush.
Johnson was named man of the match.
CHI CITY COLTS: Briant, Wilson, McGreal, Davy, Wells, O’Brennan, Moore, Rawlings, Durmush, Johnson.
Worthing Minors Youth 0 Felpham Colts 2
After two defeats in the league, this cup win gave the Colts a much-needed boost.
Early on Worthing were stopped by Seale and Blunt, both superb throughout.
With Markie trying to carve an opening up front and with Hubbard going on mazy runs, the Colts should have scored first when Hubbard ran through but shot wide. With Kearns Hubbard and Williams battling away in midfield, the Colts lacked only an end product.
The second half started with Cogger in the Colts goal producing a couple of saves to deny Worthing.
The breakthrough came when Nicholas played a lovely ball into Hubbard who ran into the box and calmly slotted home.
With Mines covering every blade, the second arrived when Nicholas’s run allowed Hubbard to run 30 yards and produce a superb left-foot shot which gave the keeper no chance.
Partridge came on to shore up the defence and see the Colts advance to the next round.
MoM was Searle
FELPHAM: Cogger, Blunt, Searle, Mines, Hubbard, Nicholas, Markie, Kearns, Williams.
