It was a sad day at Selsey Football Club as players, friends and family members paid their respects to popular club president Dave White, who died recently.

Before their SCFL division-one game against Oakwood, the first team, reserves and scores of youth players joined club officials and Mr White’s family to stage a minute’s silence and applause and lay wreaths in the centre circle.

His tireless work for the club over many years was remembered and celebrated.
