Its no deal for Alan Navarro

Alan Navarro is looking for a new club after being told he would not be offered a new deal at the Albion.

The 30-year-old holding midfielder made the last of his 73 appearances for the Seagulls in the recent 0v0 draw with Barnsley and has thanked fans for their support and kind wishes.

Navarro, who won a short-term contract last summer after initially being told he was surplus to requirements, has played in around half of the Albion’s Championship fixtures and scored a memorable winning goal away at Leeds - his only strike for the club.

Navarro is the first Brighton player to discover his fate as manager Gus Poyet continues to have one-to-one meetings with his squad to discuss next season.
