George Briance has won a Western Warriors award

STIRLANDS Cricket Club are starting to gear up for the 2012 season.

Indoor nets start at the Chichester University indoor centre start this Saturday (Feb 4) and will also be held on February 11, 18 and 25 and March 3 and 17.

Under-15s and younger have sessions from from 10am to 11am; seniors 11 til midday.

Sean Heather is returning from New Zealand to captain the first XI this season.

Meanwhile, George Briance, a member of the successful Stirlands under-12 team from 2011, was voted Western Warrior under-11 player of the season and collected his award at Hove.
