TICKETS for Goodwood’s 2013 season have gone on sale - with bosses keen to see how popular a new season ticket proves.
Goodwood have launched an exclusive new season ticket that will allow unlimited access to the Gordon Enclosure. Holders will be able to enjoy the extensive facilities of the enclosure at all 19 days of racing - including the Glorious Goodwood festival – for just £175 per person for the year.
The Gordon Enclosure season ticket and individual enclosure tickets for 2013 racing fixtures went on sale on December 1, making them an ideal Christmas gift for the horse-racing fan or Sussex socialite.
Bradley Eccleshare, Goodwood racecourse head of marketing: “2013 tickets were released on December 1 and sales are going really well.
“It’s important for us to go on-sale prior to Christmas, especially as we know that Goodwood Horseracing tickets are very popular as Christmas presents.
“With Glorious selling out earlier and earlier each year it matters greatly to us that our loyal customers get the chance to secure the tickets they want in plenty of time.”
Don’t miss a chance to win a pair of the new Gordon passes in our competition on page 92 of this week’s (December 6) Chichester Observer.
For an even more exclusive gift idea, there are a limited number of shares available in the 20th scheme of the Goodwood Racehorse Owners’ Group, which gives a fascinating insight into racehorse ownership over a two-year period.
Tickets will be available for Glorious Goodwood and all other meetings except for the Three Friday Nights series, the blend of racing and top DJs, which will go on sale March 1 after the music acts have been confirmed. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Goodwood Ticket Office, online at www.goodwood.com/horseracing or by telephoning 01243 755055.
Everyone purchasing tickets for next season before December 15 will be entered into a free prize draw with the chance to win annual membership of the Richmond Enclosure for two.
The packed 2013 calendar starts on May 4 with ppening Saturday, and other highlights will include the three-day May Festival (May 23–25), Three Friday Nights (May 31, June 14 & 21), the world-famous Glorious Goodwood festival (July 30–August 3) and the Autumn Bank Holiday meeting (August 23–25). The traditional Season Finale will round off another year at Goodwood Racecourse on October 13.
