A teenager was mugged for his mobile phone and wallet on Saturday night as he walked along Old Shoreham Road, Shoreham.
The 16-year-old victim who was heading in a northerly direction between Freehold Street and the Upper Shoreham Road was approached by a youth who punched him in the face and stole his phone and wallet.

He was taken to Worthing Hospital to be checked over but was not seriously injured.

The suspect is described as black, aged around 16 years and of slim build.

He got into the passenger seat of a dark coloured saloon type car which drove off in the direction of Shoreham High Street.
