PEOPLE are invited to find out more about the work of Adur's Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership.
A special event called Helping Us to Help You will be held tomorrow – Wednesday, October 8, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Civic Centre in Ham Road, Shoreham.
The partnership is made up of Adur District Council, West Sussex County Council, the police, fire brigade and other agencies.
They work together to ensure Adur is a safe place to live, work and visit.
This informal event is aimed at giving members of the public a chance to talk about their issues of concern and let the CDRP know what they think as worked well in their areas.
Cabinet member for health, safety and wellbeing, David Simmons, said: "This is a great opportunity to talk to the professionals. We will have stalls for each agency and people can just drop in for a chat."
Adur police district commander Chief Inspector James Asser said: "This event will be used to showcase the work of your Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership and to discuss local issues on crime and disorder.
"Sussex Police and the Sussex Police Authority (SPA) will provide information on the issues effecting local communities open to questions from residents on what has been done in the past to improve service delivery and how Citizen Focused policing is set to change the way your local police function."
