SHOREHAM'S inshore lifeboat was launched on Sunday morning (October 5) after a body was found floating in Shoreham Harbour.
The lifeboat was called at around 8.15am to assist police and coastguard officers after the body was discovered inbetween the aggregate ship Independent and the quayside, near the lock gates.

The victim was thought to be foreign, in his 30s and a member of the ship's crew.

Reports suggest he was last seen in stormy conditions at around 10pm on Saturday (October 4).
