Worry about local unemployed before bringing in seasonal workers

I was quite surprised to read in the Bognor Regis Observer (March 14) the comments from Inspector Nick Bowman regarding seasonal workers.

Some 6,000 to 9,000 migrant workers are expected to arrive into Bognor Regis shortly for seasonal work, despite the 4,500 already here.

Will there be any jobs for our local unemployed? Let’s hope they find work, thus not needing to take advantage of our more-than-generous benefit system.

Another thought has crossed my mind. Where are they all going to sleep? Hotham Park!
