FURTHER to my letter in the August 18 edition of the Observer regarding Parking Eye, we have had a reply from Parking Eye saying that the charge against us has been cancelled and no outstanding payment is due.
Whether this was in response to our letter to them dated August 4, or the fact we had spoken to the manager and one of his deputies at Morrisons, we do not know.
Today while in Morrisons’s car park, several people were complaining that despite keying in their correct registration numbers the machines were printing their numbers incorrectly, so be aware the machines could be at fault.
This matter is now resolved to our satisfaction, but not before we had eight days of unnecessary upset and worry.
