Making a great mistake

David Cameron wants homosexuals and lesbians to have their marriages solemnised in church.

In my opinion, he is making a great mistake and in doing so is losing the support of many Conservative backbenchers, as well as prospective voters in the country.

If people wish to live together, let them do so by all means, but do not make a mockery of church tradition.

The prime minister should spend more of his time in getting the economy out of debt as well as ensuring that the numerical strength of the armed forces is appropriate to meet the tasks set by the government, instead of cutting them to the bone.
