Tales through Time at Fishbourne Roman Palace

HISTORICAL storytelling sessions are starting at Fishbourne Roman Palace.

Tales through Time aim to help pre-school children discover and enjoy stories about the past.

Each session will include a mixture of storytelling and creative art activities on a different theme each month.

The first session will be held on Thursday, October 18, with dinosaur stories and the chance to make a dancing dinosaur to take away.

Head of learning, Katrina Burton, said: “Children love historical themes – dinosaurs, castles, princesses, knights – the past really captures their imagination.

“These new sessions at Fishbourne Roman Palace are an excellent way to encourage that, and it’s a great experience for parents too.”

The sessions are open to children aged from two to five years old, with an accompanying adult.

Tales through Time runs from 10am to 10.45am in the café on Thursday, October 18.

The next sessions will be held on Thursday, November 22, and Thursday, December 6.
