TEAMWORK could help boost tourism across the Bognor Regis area.
Members of the Love Sussex partnership have joined together to create a series of tourism projects aimed at boosting Sussex’s popularity as a destination for short breaks and international visits throughout 2014.
Paul Dendle, Arun District Council’s cabinet member responsible for tourism, said he hoped the partnership would help boost the district’s own tourism brand, Sussex by the Sea.
“Working with our Sussex destination partners complements our own brand www.sussexbythesea.com and allows us to target new visitors,” said Cllr Dendle.
“Sussex by the Sea is an extremely popular destination with great access to both the coast and the South Downs countryside.”
Love Sussex began with the creation of the website www.lovesussex.com in the lead--up to the 2012 Olympics.
The site, which attracts visitors from all over the world, features an events diary for the whole of the county.
It also suggests places to visit and things to do plus a variety of discount vouchers to save visitors some cash.
