VIDEO: Early-morning house fire in Wick

THE first floor of a house caught fire in Wick this morning (May 19), with paramedics, firefighters and police all rushing to the scene.

It is not yet known how the blaze started in Glenavon Mews, just off Clun Road, but crews from Worthing and Littlehampton were called at 4.40am.

Three fire engines were at the scene. The fire is now out and firefighters have been able to enter the building. No one inside was hurt.

Details are also emerging a ‘cannabis factory’ was discovered at the house.
