DETECTIVES investigating the murder of Valerie Graves will start the mass voluntary DNA screening in Bosham today.

Police are asking all men over the age of 17 who live, work or visit Bosham to provide a simple DNA mouth swab and thumbprint so they can be eliminated from the inquiry.

The sessions are taking place at the Millstream Hotel, Bosham Lane, between 10am to 8pm, with the first running from Wednesday, January 21 to Thursday, January 29.

Further screenings will also take place throughout February.

Valerie was house-sitting at a property in Smugglers Lane when she was brutally murdered on the night of December 30, 2013.

More than 9,500 people have been interviewed by police so far and a £20,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the 55-year-old’s killer.
