A BUSY road in and out of Bognor Regis has remained closed because of flooding.
The A29 is still shut today (January 8) between Sack Lane and the Robin Hood hotel in Lidsey. The closure will stay in place until the flooding subsides.
It was brought in last Thursday, January 2, after days of heavy rain left the ground saturated and remains closed.
A signed diversion is in place for motorists. The Stagecoach route 66 is unable to follow its usual route because of the closure.
West Sussex County Council have said the road looks likely to stay closed until tomorrow.
