A BROKEN down train at Fishbourne caused havoc for commuters this morning (December 12).
The train has now been moved and services have resumed as normal.
A spokesman for Southern Rail said: “The train involved was the 5.53am service from Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour.
“It struck debris on the track around Fishbourne which we think was blown there by the wind.”
Replacement bus services were operating between Barnham and Havant in both directions, while train services to and from Portsmouth Harbour/Southampton Central were subject to delays and short notice cancellations this morning.
