Touchscreen will provide tourism facts at any time

TOURISM information at the touch of a screen will soon be available in Bognor Regis.

The facts about things to do and events will be accessible 24 hours a day on a new, weather-proof
touchscreen.

This will be located outside the Bognor Regis Observer and visitor information point on the Place St Maur.

The external touchscreen has been funded by Arun District Council to enable the information to be viewed whatever the time.

The screen will display the council’s recently revamped tourism website, www.sussexbythesea.com, which can be navigated using smartphone-style
technology.

Cllr Paul Dendle, who is charge of the council’s tourism activity, said: “We’ve listened to feedback from visitors about needing
access to tourist information in the town outside of normal office hours and hope the tourism touchscreen will provide the
best solution.”

Tourism leaflets and websites can still be seen in the office from 9am-5pm weekdays, excluding lunchtimes and bank holidays.

Some leaflets are also available at nearby outlets during summer.
