Three women arrested after assault in a Chichester bar

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in a Little London bar.

Three women, who are all in their 20s and from the Fareham area, suffered cuts, bruising and bite marks after the assault inside La Havana bar on Friday, February 1.

Further assaults also took place in the street outside the bar between 8.30pm and 11.30pm.

Two 19-year-old women and an 18-year-old woman from the Chichester area have been arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until Wednesday, March 20, pending further enquiries.

PC Emma Jeacock, of West Sussex Response Investigation Team, said: “We are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it taking place.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1825 of 1/2. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
