STRONG winds caused trees to fall in the Bognor Regis area.
This morning’s storm (October 28) have seen at least 150 trees fall across the county according to Sussex Police.
Several trees were uprooted in the Bognor area.
In May Close a car fell on a parked vehicle.
A tree also fell on a roof in Upper Bognor Road. Fire crews were called to the incident.
Disruption was also caused in Downview Road after another tree was uprooted.
Church Farm Holiday Village was also evacuated around 11.53pm this morning amid flooding concerns.
Holidaymakers were taken to the nearby Pagham Village Hall while others stayed in alternative accommodation at the resort.
Visitors were allowed back at 7am this morning and there was little damage to the park.
Flooding has also been reported in Orchard Way and Bersted.
Many homes were also affected by power cuts – many caused by fallen trees – but power has been retuned.
Disruption to train services had also been caused, but services are slowly starting to return to normal, but advice is to check before you travel.
