SUMMER fun was celebrated at a Bognor Regis care home.
Families and friends called into Elizabeth House care home to support the annual summer fair and welcome the home’s new manager Marian Drake.
Mrs Drake accepted the post just a few weeks ago and sent every family a personal invite to attend the annual summer fair.
She said: “I was thrilled to be offered the chance to manage this home in the town that I love. My door is always open for residents, families and staff.”
Activity coordinators Sue and Gemma worked hard to help make the day a success and there was an array of stalls and games including a bumper summer raffle which had been supported by local businesses.
Bognor Regis town mayor Paul Well was also at the event, he also toured the Victoria Drive home as well.
Cllr Wells said: “I was extremely impressed with the facilities provided for residents at the Elizabeth House Care Home on my visit.
“It was a pleasure to meet and chat to the residents and some of their families and I very much enjoyed participating in the Summer Fair, which everyone present seemed to thoroughly enjoy- the staff did a tremendous job.”
Elizabeth House, which is owned and operated by leading health care provider Shaw healthcare, cares for sixty elderly people, all who are living with different types of dementia.
