Three men attempt to break in to Bognor house

Police are investigating after three people tried to break into a house in Ockley Road in Bognor Regis at around 2.25am on Saturday (March 19).

The occupants heard someone kicking the panel on their door and phoned police.

The three suspects ran off, they did not manage to get into the property.

Detective Constable Andrea Watts said: “The men were all described as white.

“One is described as larger than the other two, 6ft with a chubby face and stubble.

“He is mid to late 20s and wearing a light coloured hooded top and black gloves.

“It is believed he was carrying a knife.

“The second was around 5ft 9in to 6ft, mid 20s, wearing a two-tone hooded jacket which was light in colour on the top half and darker on the lower half.

“The third man was 5ft 9in to 5ft 11in wearing a light coloured hooded top.

“Anyone who saw what happened or saw anything suspicious in the street around that time is asked to contact police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 135 of 10/03.”
